- Admission into an undergraduate program at FUTMinna can be obtained primarily through one of two entry methods, UTME or Direct Entry.

- Candidates who wish to enroll at the Federal University of Technology, Minna must fulfill the following criteria:
- Candidates must be 16years and above.
- A minimum of 5 (five) “Cs (Credits)” marks are required for candidates’ O’level results (s). English language, math, and three other topics relevant to their area of study must be included.
- Candidates must attain a minimum score of 170 on the JAMB UTME.
- Candidates must take the FUTMinna post-UTME screening test, and they must do well on it (Depending on the course of study)
- Candidates must select the appropriate topic combination for their courses because the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna) will only accept results from ONE sitting.
- Finally, to be admitted to the institution, applicants must achieve the required cutoff scores for their respective courses.
Direct Entry criteria for FUTMinna admission
- The following criteria must be met by applicants who seek to be admitted directly to the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna):
- The minimum number of credits a candidate must have in their O-level score is five (5). Mathematics and English are both required in this. Two sitting results are not permitted, nevertheless.

The Newgate University, Minna is a privately-owned educational university that offers top-notch higher education, training, and research in the areas of health sciences, computer and engineering, social, and management sciences.
